Yokowo’s Standard Probes
Since every IC Package is unique, the corresponding socket must be custom made. While customers need sockets in a short time, it takes a certain amount of time to customize sockets individually.
We have been in the industry since 1979, and from this experience we have found similarities by application. With this knowledge in hand, we have prepared standard probes. Adopting standard probes not only shortens the design lead time, but also leads to the standardization of the assembly process, which in turn contributes to the shortening the production lead time.
1. Contact height and pitch
The pitch of our standard probes is from 0.3mm to 0.8mm.
There are some differences in the lineup by pitch. The table below is a lineup of 0.4mm pitch standard probes. Kelvin probe is also available . Please contact us for details.

2. Structure
Our probes consist of 4 different components . Plunger A contacts the customer device side, while Plunger B contacts the PCB.
Different types of Plunger A shapes are available to suit each package type.

4. Unique internal structure
While Yokowo has served Semiconductor testing industry for more than 40 years, we have learned a lot from the market.
The knowledge we have gained through our experience is now fully integrated into the structure of standard probes, providing stable contact resistance and long service life.
